On Saturday 19th July we completed one of our rare double sing outs.
In the morning we made another visit  to Avalon Court Care Home in Coventry, where we received our usual rapturous reception ( well from one or two of the residents).  The rain was torrential so we were a bit apprehensive about or next engagement which was at the Stoneleigh Duck Race Fete. We were promised a marquee to sing in if it didn't stop raining, so off we dutifully trotted.
As you can see from the picture, once we burst into "On a Wonderful Day Like Today" the sun came out and a good time was had by all!
So much so that they want us to come back next year.
