MR BARBERSHOP REMINISCES-WILF REMEMBERS THE EARLY DAYS

THE START OF BARBERSHOP IN COVENTRY
For our newsletter this month we are lucky enough to tap into the memory bank of Mr Wilf Pattison as he talks about how it all began for the Chorus now known as Three Spires Harmony.
I know you have had some "interesting" outfits over the years but i think the ones in this articles must be up there as one of the most garish!
Many of you will have read "Finding The Gem" by John Powell, and if you are interested in the story of TSH from its inception up to 2011 many members could dig out a copy for you to borrow. When I joined in 2014, John was still singing with the chorus and he basically introduced himself with "Hello, I am John, do you have £2.50 and would you like to buy my booklet?"He was a great character and sadly missed!
Anyway I am sure you will enjoy Wilf's story and we should really try and get the booklet up to date.
Later this month i am hoping that Shanna will be able to share her story and then next month we have Tony Fell lined up to share some entertaining memories.
