Can I start by wishing all our members and friends a Happy New Year?
2023 will hopefully be a much more settled year and we have some important aims to put into place. (I would say resolutions but they don't seem to last much longer than the first week of January!)
Number 1 is to sort out our rehearsal venue.
We know that things are changing at Willenhall and I am pleased to report that we have identified a couple of promising new locations which we will be investigating in the next few weeks. Both of these are in Coventry and should be easily accessible for all members.
Number 2. Try to find a new MD.
Wilf is doing a sterling job but he doesn't want to carry on for ever! I am sure that he would like to be able to sing at rehearsals again rather that stand in front of us.
Number 3 Recruitment
Hopefully this will follow on from number 1 (and ideally) from number 2. Willenhall has not proved a happy recruiting ground for whatever reason, so hopefully a new area of Coventry will be more appealing to any male voices that might be out there.
REMINDER
We are back on Tuesday 10th January, so you have one more week to learn "Go The Distance", Nim. Wilf has also said that a second song will be forthcoming in the first few weeks. Watch this space.
